What’s special about Birth & Bloom's Yoga sessions?
As a Mum of 3, I understand what it's like to be a new mum and trying to adjust to life with a new baby, whether it's your first or your fifth... I know how it feels not to feel quite right in your body after pregnancy and to need reassurance from a community who understand!
My approach to postnatal recovery exercise is all about nurturing you and your baby, gently waking up muscles and beginning to strengthen them again and really taking the time to enjoy being with your baby and adjusting to your new life as a mum.
That’s why I include the below in each of my yoga sessions:
Breathing techniques for stress and anxiety relief
Positive affirmations to keep telling you that you're doing an amazing job - because you ARE! You are AMAZING!
Fun, playful yoga moves that involve your baby so you can enjoy having them with you throughout the class
Time to chat to other like-minded mums and widening your support network
Exercises to wake up, tone and strengthen muscles that need some gentle encouragement after birth
A short relaxation to help strengthen your ability to find calmness in chaos and to realise just how well you're doing as a new mum
15 mins of social time at the end of each session, free hot drinks and biscuits included
AND - Each session is planned with you in mind, so any ailments, discomforts or conditions you may be experiencing, let me know and we can accommodate them.
I look forward to welcoming you and your gorgeous new baby to these lovely parent and baby yoga sessions!
